As a slow fashion Brand , we stand for sustainability and we are trying as much as possible to reduce our carbon print by sourcing locally .
Luxury is not just about expensive fabrics or labour , luxury can also be about having the ability to make a garment with strong values behind it , such as wearing it knowing from where it came from and from how its made, and with that in mind we can make a change to the future .
Each year we produce 2 collections , [ BASICs ] and [ R81 ]
The basic line streetwear made from 100 % coton fabric produced locally , we make a small series of each collection and whatever has been left unsold we redesign it , and recycle into the next collection .
R81 is the up cycled line , we wanted to make sustainability and up cycling luxury and glam, by making statements pieces from the leftovers without making it look upcycled .
In addition, the waste is used to make our accessories collection , for example, handbags , hats , jewellery , and some experimental garments ..
We created another brand SALT KNOT, for the circular up cycling process , that uses the waste from our collections, and fabric sourced from flea markets ,into making knitted garments, and goods that are hand made by women in cooperatives throughout morocco .
The second hand clothing market tripled in size over the last couple of years , the ” Thrifting fever “made a lot of people turn to those stores or street markets to get quality garments, most of the time in very good condition .
But sadly 70 percent of the rest goes into the waist discharge , leaving a lot of countries to whom those clothes are donated or sold, to deal with another huge environmental issue .
and we are currently designing a collection about the clothes waist in collaboration with cooperatives by introducing new techniques to the traditional textile weaving.
Lets REBEL in mind and spirit to make a sustainable difference into the streetwear, with strong and ethical core values and legacy ,for the future & love of fashion .
